In 2023, after a decade of being the premiere purveyor of showgirl magic, Carrie-Ann O’Dell stepped down as CEO of Showgirl Entertainments Ltd and lovingly passed the torch onto Burlesque Queen, Jolie Papillon.

Having trained at one of Europe’s most prestigious theatre academies before making her mark on the glamorous world of burlesque, Jolie Papillon was already a highly-regarded force of nature within the contemporary cabaret revival long before taking the reins of the company. Not only has she won multiple industry-acknowledged awards, both as an internationally acclaimed burlesque artist and as a dancer in her own right, she has also headlined shows all across the globe; holds residencies in some of the most iconic cabaret spots in London’s West End; has closed multiple seasons as the New Original Windmill Girl at the legendary Windmill Theatre; entertained clients such as Dior, Hermes, Laurent-Perrier, Vogue, Porsche, YSL and Veuve Clicquo; and, is a core cast member of the Olivier-award winning show, La Clique. In addition, Jolie has accrued over fifteen years of production experience with notable roles as the co-founder & director of Gin House Burlesque — who recently danced on the Orient Express –, as well as curating nightly entertainment at the jewel of Mayfair, The Maine.
